How to Apply

Getting added to our listings it a two step process:

Complete the form below with your organization’s information.
Download and complete the application (a PDF form).

Please read through the application checklist and check all of the boxes that apply.

To become recognized you must meet all of the minimum requirements. Please contact your regional coordinator if you have any questions or need assistance meeting the requirements.

There are many rebate programs for facility changes so please talk to your coordinator before upgrading lighting or water fixtures.

While applications are accepted year round, we encourage businesses to register prior to the fall to ensure they are considered for the annual green business awards.

Applications are reviewed at the beginning of each month. Please allow 3-4 weeks for processing.

Step 1:

Once you click “submit,” a message will appear above “Step 1″ stating that your application is pending. At this time, please complete stage 2 below. Only at that time is your full application submitted.

Step 2:

Be sure to download, fill out, and return the application to recycle@placer.ca.gov to complete step 2 of your application. Please allow 3-4 weeks for processing.
